Can I try ClearWIP before connecting my own QuickBooks?
Yes. The demo is a read-only workspace with realistic sample data — you can explore the WIP schedule, close workflow, and reports without creating an account. Actions that change data are disabled in the demo.
Do I need QuickBooks Online?
Yes. ClearWIP connects to QuickBooks Online — it syncs your jobs and costs and checks your WIP schedule against the same ledger your accountant sees.
What happens when I lock a period?
Locking freezes the period's numbers into a snapshot that can never silently change. Reports and shared links for that period cite the snapshot; new changes land in the next period.
What do people I share a report with see?
A read-only page citing the locked snapshot, along with who attested it and the QuickBooks tie-out. Recipients never see notes, drafts, or anything outside the report itself.
How does pricing work?
ClearWIP is a subscription with plans sized by job volume, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Current plans and limits are on the pricing page.
