The schedule you share is only as good as the recipient's reason to trust it. ClearWIP shares are built around locked snapshots, so what you send is provable, not just printable.
Share a lock, not a live page
Shares are generated from a locked snapshot: a numbered, immutable version of the period. The recipient sees exactly what you closed, and it cannot shift underneath them while they're reviewing it. No login, no account, just a link that renders the schedule.
Links you stay in control of
Every link has an expiry you choose, and you can revoke any link the moment it's outlived its purpose. ClearWIP records when a shared report is opened, so you know whether the surety actually looked before the renewal call.
What the recipient sees
Alongside the schedule itself, the share carries its provenance: which snapshot version, who attested and when, whether the period ties to the QuickBooks general ledger, and the methodology line showing the same cost-to-cost method has been in use, unchanged. A verification fingerprint sits on the detail view so a careful reader can confirm the artifact is genuine.
None of that is decoration. It's the difference between "here's a spreadsheet" and "here's a record", and recipients notice.
Exports carry it too
PDF, Excel, and CSV exports from a locked period carry the same provenance on the document foot. Forward them, file them, re-key them: the trail stays attached.
